So you’ve got your AdWords campaign you decided to run with that, you’ve engaged us to do your keyword research for you, you’ve approved what we’ve got we’ve set the thing live and it’s been going for 28 days. You see you’ve got lots of visitors to your website but nobody’s filling in the form, nobody’s making phone calls, there’s no conversions and you’re not getting any sales and you say AdWords doesn’t work, and we say look at all this traffic you’re getting.
So the next thing you need to look at is what’s happening with your website. So what are the search terms that people are actually using to find your website and does your website respond to those search terms. Also, need to look at what the load speed is of your website. Ideally, you want it to be 3 seconds or less. The interest in somebody and waiting for your search to load you know when you see the little thing that goes round and round and round. Well I don’t stick around for that to load and I’m sure you don’t either and neither do the people that are potentially your customers.
So the two points I’d like you to take away from this is that load speed matters and that you need to be responsive to what people are searching for when they want to find you and it may be a little different or on a bit of a tangent to what you think it is that they’re looking for.
